OUR MISSION: Committed to achievement for all New York City youth, Roads to Success promotes academic, personal and professional development through out-of-school-time programs built on a philosophy of self-discovery. We create and sustain an environment where young people find their identity, build their independence and practice generosity in their communities.

PROGRAM DESIGN: RTS facilitates a variety of youth programs including after-school, summer camps, retreats, conferences and summer employment opportunities reaching thousands of young people throughout NYC each year. RTS emphasizes the youth development practice of the Circle of Courage in all our programs; creating an environment of Belonging, where young people can build their Independence, find and develop their Mastery skill, and practice Generosity in their communities. At the core of our programs are staff training strategies that enable our young professionals to develop extraordinarily meaningful relationships with the young people in their care who we call Our Future Leaders because that is what they all are.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: A Data Entry Associate will assist the Discover Program during enrollment and complete administrative tasks.


  • Supervisor: Job Developer
  • Max Hours: 15-25 per week
  • Days: 3-5 per week, Monday-Friday
  • Availability: April 27 - June 30 & July 1 - August 28
  • Compensation: $15 per hour


  • Assist in the enrollment process of eligible applicants by collecting and entering all required documentation into DYCD database system.
  • Correspond and maintain a working relationship with Success Coaches.
  • Collect participants timesheets from Success Coaches on a weekly basis and accurately enter timesheets into DYCD database system by 6:00 pm every Tuesday.
  • Collect worksite assessments from Success Coaches and enter into DYCD database system on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of participant files and ensure completion of all paperwork.
  • Prepare and maintain files for final DYCD Audit.
  • Assist with the orientation process including workshop facilitation.
  • Assist in distribution of participant debit cards.
  • Communicate with the Job Developer regarding any conflicts.
  • Maintain communications with participants, parents/guardians and worksites regarding program information.
  • Attend weekly meetings and professional development trainings at headquarters.
  • Encourage a positive environment promoting mutual support and the desire to learn and grow.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or requested by the Job Developer.


  • Must have college credits. Degrees are a plus.
  • Must have at least one year of experience working in administration.
  • Have strong verbal communication skills to communicate professionally.
  • The ability to work in a team and be a team player with your staff members.
  • Be able to problem solve, excel with minimal supervision, and work under pressure.
  • Must be professional, punctual, and adapt to changes that may occur during program.
  • Be willing to learn and implement new strategies and receive guidance from the Job Developer.
